Super Cycle Challenge for HHH & MGF

January 16, 2012

2nd & 3rd June

Hull to Widnes ~ Trans Pennine Trail

163 miles / 261 km

Halton Haven Hospice is proudly teaming up with The Mark Gorry Foundation to organise an exciting, new event for 2012. This event is not for the faint hearted as the bike ride will cover over 160 miles and you be challenged to complete this in just two days. This gruelling challenge will test your mental strength and determination and test how fit you really are. Is this not the perfect way to get in better shape in the New Year whilst raising much needed funds for two fantastic charities?

The bike ride will take place on the 2nd and 3rd of June and there will be only 50 places available. It will cover the demanding Trans Pennine Trail starting at the Hull KR Stadium, bright and early on the Saturday morning and will finish back at the Stobart Stadium Halton in Widnes on Sunday afternoon.

Tina Robinson, Lottery & E-Marketing Officer at Halton Haven Hospice said: “This will be an intense challenge and a first of this nature organised by the Hospice and MGF. We hope cyclists in the community will join us for an unforgettable experience and help raise vital funds for both charities. If you want to set yourself a goal for the year get in touch!”

You must be a keen cyclist to take part and are required to have a high level of fitness. If this is you then the closing date for entries is the 30th January and you will be notified if you have a place by the 6th February.
