Fundraising
Our care is given freely, without charge, 24 hours each day, 365 days each year. However it costs over £1,800.00 each year to provide these vital services. As we receive limited funds from statutory bodies, Halton Haven is a registered charity which relies very heavily on the support of the local community to raise these costs.
The Twilight Walk 2010
This years Twilight Walk is rapidly approaching and this year its even more exciting than 2009.
The walk will take place on the 3rd July from the Stobart Stadium Halton. With a quick warm up
in the stands, walkers will then set off on the 10k walk to Runcorns town hall, then back to the
Stadium where their Bacon Butty will be waiting for them.
Anyone who took place on the walk last year will receive a letter in the next couple of weeks.
However if you're interested in taking part this year, give us a call on 0151 495 2111 and we’ll get
an application sent out to you.
We’re always looking for volunteers to help us with our events, so if anyone is interested get in
touch! We’re hoping to beat our target of 700 walkers from last year, so make sure you get your
letters back to us as soon as you can.
