Halton Haven Hospice is proud to announce Forget Me Not Week taking place from the 18th ~ 25th May 2013. A week dedicated to raising crucial funds for the Hospice.
In this week, we want local fundraisers to go purple in their fundraising activities, get involved and support your local Hospice.
Hannah Denny, Fundraising Support Officer said: ‘We want Halton to come on board and support the Hospice with our new awareness week – this is the first time we’ve done something like this before, and we want local schools, high schools, supporters of the Hospice to fundraise for us during this week”
“From purchasing a Halton Haven Hospice t-shirt & wristbands to dying your hair purple or by baking purple cakes, everyone can go purple in some way and support the Hospice.”
“You could have a dress down day at work, where everyone must wear a purple item of clothing, you could even wear our t-shirts!”
“And of course you can come up with your own fundraising ideas as well, the more individual the better!”
“Even Tina and I from the Events Team will be dying our hair purple for the week, so get on board and join us to turn Halton purple in the last week of May!”
How about holding a Forget Me Not Coffee Morning?
Instead of going to the coffee shop, invite your friends to your house and get them to donate the money they would have spent on coffee to the Hospice, or encourage your work to get involved and hold a coffee break!
You could get your family and friends to cook some tasty treats – purple cakes would be great!
We can supply an information pack on how to host your own event. Or if you know someone who you think would make a great coffee morning host, get them to sign up.
For a Forget Me Not fundraising pack, please contact the Fundraising Team on 0151 495 2111.
